I have in this version of Battlestar Galactica always rooted for the
Cylons against the Colonials.
First, I contend that, apart from seeing Olmos act, the Cylons are the
stars of the series--their mysteries are what drive the entire plot.
Second, given the Colonials surrendered to the Cylons after their
first war, quitting a war against what were to them the equivalent of
demons and allowing them to escape to parts unknown where they could
strike with impunity against the Colonials, I believe the Colonials as
a society have forfeited their right to live, and that a penalty of
the culling of 999,999 out of every 1 million or so is justified.

I like them too. Don't like the humanoid skin job ones, tho.

Neither side "surrendered." They signed an armistice agreement.

By that logic, the United States as a society has also forfeited its
right to live, having signed similar agreements with North Korea and
Vietnam. I supose you would therefore be cool with it if one of them
nuked the **** out of the U.S.?
