Yep, that vaunted Christian moral superiority

Supporters, including former baseball great Hank Aaron, Atlanta Mayor
Shirley Franklin and the pastor of Vick's church sent letters while
others called the judge's chambers.

A century ago, such dog fighting was accepted by most societies - no

Which indicates a primitive barbarity for all religions more than an
excuse for Vick.

Not completely true. Buddhists don't advocate eating meat, much less
killing animal just for kicks.

I got a kick out of Vick characterising his behavior as "immature
acts." Right, as if the maturation process of human beings requires
the acquired wisdom to counter the natural inclination to kill dogs.
There is no excuse for such behavior, period.

Immature nothing, how many 5 year old boys enjoy killing dogs for fun?
