Been watching the Veronica Mars DVDs. Alyson Hannigan and Charisma Carpenter were in a few
episodes, but I had forgotten they had a scene together (S2 -My Mother the Fiend). Alyson played
Trina Echolls, a wannabe actress and half sister to Logan Echolls. Charisma played Kendall
Casablancas, a trophy wife.
It was fun to see "Willow" actually getting the better of "Cordelia" for once --

TRINA: Wait a minute. Are you, like, sleeping with my little brother? What is he, thirteen?
KENDALL: Thirteen? He wishes. So, is this your *much* older sister I've heard nothing about?
LOGAN: Oh yes, where are my manners? Kendall Casablancas, Trina Echolls. Rode Hard, meet Put
Away Wet.
TRINA: Hmm. I'm guessing she's the wet one. Well, I'd love to stay and chat, but I've got
places to be.
KENDALL: Where? Is there a club where you, Dedee Pfeiffer, Joey Travolta, and Melissa Rivers
all meet for drinks?
TRINA: There is. I don't think you'd like it, it's twenty-one and over.
[Kendall smiles nastily]
TRINA: We're hitting an after party at Chuck E. Cheese, though, if you're free. Mmm?.
[They sneer at each other]
TRINA: 'Kay, well, I need him in bed by ten pm sharp. He's got school tomorrow.

I had forgotten about all the guest stars on the show -- Paris Hilton, AH., CC, Joss Whedon,
Lucy Lawless, Harry Hamlin, Zachary Bryan and Jonathan Taylor (two of the sons of the old 'Home
Improvement' show), Krysten Ritter (Lucy on GG [if you're a GG fan] ), Patty Hearst, Steve
Guttenberg, et al.
I just wish there had been a Season 4!!

Logan got the line of the episode. That whole scene was awesome. You
could tell that AH and CC were having a lot of fun. VM S2 was sort of
a glorious train wreck, but it had a lot of really good moments. CC's
bikini-clad entrance in the first ep was a season highlight for me.

But her association with the Fitzpatrick's has cast a whole new light on her -- not just a
trophy wife any more. Maybe not so dumb after all (but maybe kind of stupid to get mixed up with
them).
