Yeah, I post insults, in response to insults from a person I see only second
hand, in case he hasn't noticed. When he leaves me alone, I'll be glad to
return the favor. Like most people, I can behave like a troll if I want to,
and have done so many times. Seriously, I don't think Martin is a troll
either, but he and I strike sparks off each other, which is why I kill-filed
him. However, his invasion of my e-mail was uncalled for and the insults he
sends there are also uncalled for. Since he wants to fight, I'm giving him
one. But he's not going to do it in my e-mail. If he wants to act like an
*******, he can do it in public, where everybody can see him.

What I learned from Andy was that I get to choose my battles. If he wants
to be an *******, he can. But he's going to do it here, and not in my
e-mail. If he's too ashamed of the way he acts to do so in public, he
shouldn't be acting that way. :P

In any case, I've already taken your suggesting and kill-filed him every
which way including loose. If he's too stupid to do the same to me, it's

4) You're dangerously close to being a troll yourself with comments
about me like "he's ever been to getting laid that didn't
involve a farm animal" and "Did you masturbate while you typed that?"

The only comments I've ever made have been observations, not insults.
If Ms. Kennedy claims that somebody is "clueless" then I will point
out that she insulted the speaker without addressing what they had to
say, which IS clueless. If she dismisses what somebody had to say as
"gobbledygook" then I will lament her apparent illiteracy. If she
accuses someone of being a troll she should recognize that she is
being a troll herself. She's even admitted "I really am trolling
him". (Or are you going to accuse me of faking her address now?)
Frankly, she should cease and decist or her service provider will take
action.

I'm not stupid: I do realize that people will be less polite with
people they can't see than when they are talking to people face to
face, but there should be limits on what we should tolerate over the
internet.

I always do. It gets really hysterical when they try to take their
harassment to email, when you run your own mail server. I could,
for example, just set the server to forward anything from him to
their abuse department automatically. I'd never even know it had
happened. I could probably have it reply with an insulting message,
just to keep him sending them, until his account gets bounced. But
that wouldn't be nice.
