He was lucky - to be spared the imposition of "Galactia 1980."

I am inclined to view this more as a mental illness issue rather than simple
stupidity.

It's easy for us to call him that, but this has to fall into the insanity
category rather than lack of intelligence.

Care to give us the specifics of your case study that justifies this
Oprah-style "poor thing must be a victim" approach?

I wouldn't worry. Maybe he's the last Cylon and he'll be back for
season four.

Hobbit 03-08-2008, 09:40 PM I gotta admit, I'm bummed about this being the final season.
But it's not THAT bad.

Dude, it's a good thing. All good things come to an end.
And, trust me, there is always room for continuing stuff. Keep in mind
that this series is simply a really great re-creation of a really,
really shitty series.

And going out on a high.. or even a medium... is better than hanging
around till people are sick of it!!
Mikey 03-09-2008, 09:53 AM Don't forget aboutthe possibility of some TV movies on Sci-Fi or even a big
theatrical movie.
Depends on how it all ends.

Quite true. If they had two more seasons it would probably tank. Season 3
is the lamest so far.

Yeah. Let's say you had a really great show. But the "last" season
your top bill "sleep walked" through it. Or "phoned it in". So you
brought in some new cast and kept the show on life support for two
more seasons. That would be crazy, nobody would do that!

ER, anyone. Except it's been, what, 10 seasons since that show rocked!
But I don't begrudge them. I'm fine with the show staying on. I don't
have to watch it and there's so much **** in the pilots that I'm fine
with letting hardcore ER people continue to watch.

I was thinking of another show a little closer to home. Let's say
that it was on at, oh, 8pm ET, followed by a spinoff, followed by what
some critics called "the best scifi show ever".
Not naming names, but RDA should have left a season earlier.
