View Full Version : MY THEORY ON THE LAST CYLON
Allen Prunty 02-15-2008, 06:28 PM I think that they did something to Adama when he was on the basestar
shown in Razor and he does not know it.
Didn't Leoban whisper in the President's ear "Adama is a Cylon" before
she dumped him out of the airlock?

Dee,
The one that was on the Cylon Basestar was the older one. I think that
when "Husher" put his hand in the "goo" and had the visions of the Cylon
Centurions doing things to humans... something was done to him. He was
changed into a Cylon. Lee Adama will turn out to be a Hybrid.
I think that the reason why the final "5" can reproduce (Callie and
Tyrol's) baby is that they let go of the notion of being synthetic and
it worked. When the "Athena" cylon started to love is when she got
pregnant. The emotions are the "key".

It's an interesting theory except that it goes against what Ron Moore
has stated previously about the skin-job Cylons.
He said flatly they were NOT replacements of existing people. So none
of the "replace-someone-with-a-duplicate" line of thinking is correct.
It makes sense in Razor that the Cylons had to have access to live
humans in order to replicate human physiology down to the molecular
level, but I doubt that meant they could "invade" a host and take over
like the Borg.
He also said that Adama and Rosyln were out of the running for being
Cylons because it would undermine key aspects of their characters and
the plot as a whole. Make of that what you will. It could be he's
saying it just to throw people off.

Yes, I think to hammer that home he had Tyrol remind the audience,
"and we have been from the start" because otherwise so much of the
audience would be insisting this means they were taken over or replaced.
As for Adama and Laura, he did say that they would not be in that group
of 4. It's possible that's a trick and that the reason they could
not be in the 4 is because one of them is the one. But probably not.
It's more and more clear it's Baltar now, thanks to the revelation that
the 1 is in shadow, hungers for redemption and will get it in pain.

Buckaroo Adama detects the last cylon:
EVIL! There! Evil PURE AND SIMPLE by way of the Eighth Dimension!
