I don't want a spoiler about the ending. I just want to know if he

Thats not much of a spoiler, and it certainly doesn't say what the last
scene is about.
Just about every Trek movie has ended with a crew shot. Big whoop.

And it isn't even clear Yelchin is talking about the last scene of the
movie. It could simply be the last scene he filmed.
Really, nothing particularly surprising here. They wear TOS-like
uniforms and all appear together on the Enterprise. Shocked. Shocked,
am I.
(Man, the OP must be really desperate for inside info if he thinks
this qualifies as a spoiler...)

That's not a spoiler. We already know they're wearing the old uniforms, or
rather a minor smartening up of the old ones (colours are a shade or two
darker, and we can presume they probably a bit better tailored, the
minidress is apparently cut slightly differently). We'll certainly have
seen the uniforms long before the film hits the plexes, anyway.

The key point is that this ending shot has the new cast wearing the old
TOS uniforms. That's a nice bit of continuity with TOS.
*spoiler*
Again, not much of a spoiler given that the article doesn't say it was
TOS uniforms, only that they were in red, blue, and yellow. We've
already seen pix of the uniforms in earlier posts, and they didn't look
like TOS AND they were in various colors.

All I'm saying is don't get all excited and start foaming at the mouth
over information of this quality. You're very likely to be disappointed
when the movie comes out and then you'll go into a fanboy rage over it.

Shows Pine in *a* costume. Nothing to indicate that this is the only
costume he wears in the course of the film. Since every indication is
that the events jump between differing periods in Kirk's early life,
perhaps that is an Academy uniform.

My guess: after a thrilling unexpected adventure during their shakedown
cruise, the whole crew are strategically placed on the bridge for a wide
"family photo" shot. Our new Sulu asks for a heading, and our new Kirk says,
"Out there. Thataway".

Correct. All the photos that show them green and the shots that show
them green in Star Trek remastered have been color shifted and are
wrong. They're not lemon yellow; they're more of a mustard. But they
aren't green.

While thrilled that they're bringing back the real uniforms, I'm also hoping
they're ditching that awful green Captain's Cardigan. Ugliest apparel in
