Spoilers For "Somnambulist" Below:

In this episode, Wesley says that in the late 17th Century, Angelus
carved
crosses on his victims. Why didn't he carve crosses on his victims
during his
1997-98 killing spree in the 2nd season of Buffy?

Maybe it's something he stopped doing, or maybe the Watchers were wrong,
and ascribed Penn's early killings to Angel.

How would Angelus' mind travel sideways in time?
