All that I recall about her from the pilot is that she was arrested for
shoplifting.

Maybe she's able to teleport objects that she desires so that as she walks
through a store, they miraculously appear on her person. However, sometimes
it happens involuntarily and since she is unable to disable the computer
chips in the packaging, when she walks out of the store all hell breaks
loose.

There's something with her touching. She gently touches her sons on
the shoulder in the pilot, and their decisions, their opinions change.

I think she can affect will and decisions with touch. Just my 2 cents.

If so, then her ability is the counterpoint to Eden's who achieves the same
effect vocally (rather than by touch).

Well perhaps Angela has both voice and touch. They seem to follow her
suggestions easier.

My wife has the same power. She touches me and then I'll do whatever
she asks. :)
