great episode. that was a twist with a guy in a coma sending letter bombs!

when Monk was in the hospital fixing the table and bureau, i think he missed the table lampshade ! it looked crooked against the painting backdrop.

when he knocked over the plant and had to vacuum by unplugging the life support was great, hahahahaha...

and he even drove his shrink crazy, who avoided him, this guy is too much with the OCD !



BTW, why did they show the "package" in the beginning of the program , as the mailman set it down against the post, then a cut-away view to see the contents? why?

wouldn't it have had more dramatic impact if it just exploded after she opened it?
it was a quick scene, and we would have known that it was a bomb?

so why was it shown before she picked it up? that spoiled the suprise with the special FX, which looked cool when it happened.

BTW, unpluggin the life support for a vacumn cleaner and the guy
croaking is an urban legend.

Because knowing it was a bomb made it suspenseful. Much better to have a
few minutes of suspense than one second of shock.
