I am definitely enjoying this season much more than last years. Last
night's episode got back to some of the comedy roots of the show.
(Taking the test was classic Monk.) Also nice to see a mystery with
something other than a murder.

I was rolling on the floor during the test scene. One of the best ever.

Well, I would have to somewhat disagree. Yes it was humorous, but it
was also filled with pathos. That's what makes the character so
strong. We laugh at and cry for Monk, all at the same time.

Cheers, Harry

Yes, I agree. In the beginning it was funny, but the longer the scene lasted
it became quite annoying and sad. No wonder he is so unhappy.

I thought of Shaloub on NPR "If we can make you want to change the
channel, but you keep watching to see what happens"

It drove me nuts. :)
