Hi All....Am I missing something? I keep checking to see if there are any
new posts since the series started it's new season and not much is showing
up? There have been some really good episodes so far this year. The only
one that drove me around the bend, was a scene when "the gang" visited the
big city. Other than that, not bad at all. Last nights I thought was
especially good. Anybody?

The episode, "Monk Gets Fired" was pretty good. For me, this season's
1st episodes (especially New York) were disappointing. This episode
gets gets back some of the spark of the original shows, where the main
strength is the actual plot, closely followed by strong character
development. Lastly, Monk's mannerisms & life issues should play in
almost a background mode, where we can smile, knowing the inside joke
& maybe seeing a bit of ourselves in his struggles.
