Although I like Sharona, I don't think she's a necessary charactor in the
show.

I really liked the episode where Monk got to work with the security store
guy. I think they were good together. I think that Monk could go in a
different direction and be great. Monk could get back on the force and have
a partner. What does he need a nurse for, anyway? He seems to be getting
better in recent eps.

I think restoring Monk to the police force would be like marrying the
lead in a series. You kill the striving towards an end.

The store security guy would be just another cop. It would be better
to stick him with leutenat whats-his-name, the geek.

The security guy has a full time job on "Veronica Mars" this Season.
