I've got a couple of questions. In the openning sequence/start
credits, Monk is shown rearranging the jackets in his closet. How did
the third uniform jacket get out of place? And how did the umbrella
get turned opposite the other ones?

Took me awhile to get the inside joke of Tim Daley appearing on an
airplane-set episode of Monk. And I was a big fan of the show. How
could I forget what actor played the neurotic taxi driver?

My mom says Monk and Sharrona's seat mate was something Marshall, who
directs or produces or something television shows. Is Monk one of
his, or was he there for the Wings connection? (Probably could find
this info on the internet, but I'm sure someone here knows the answer,
and it'll get some discussion going.)

And what about the flight attendant? Anyone know who she is? My mom
says she's somebody, maybe a singer. I thought maybe she was someone
from Wings, but it wasn't Helen (Crystal Bernard), and I don't think
she was the sister.

Okay, so now we're getting into the real spoilers. How the heck do
you find a double of someone who's willing to commit murder? Reminds
me of an old Simon and Simon episode where the brothers were
investigating a company that provided star stand-ins. Look-alikes for
the brothers were sent to off them.

I can just see the interview. "Oh, by the way, do you mind having to
kill someone to get the job? Yes? Then if you follow my associate,
he'll take care of you. NEXT!"

I've never thought about this, as it was just a gag. I guess you can
blame the cleaning lady.

The salesman was played by Garry Marshall, TV writer, producer and
director (Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, and others), not to mention
actor. Also, he's the brother of director/actress Penny Marshall. To
my knowledge, neither of the Marshalls had ever worked with Tony
Shalhoub before that episode.

She was actress Brooke Adams. Brooke is Tony Shalhoub's wife.
