I do too. She isn't as whiny as the other one. The show was very good
and I really did enjoy it. I have missed Monk! I am glad it is back
on.

Being whiny is part of the character.

But the new Natalie character is self absorbed and sort mean spirited.

Like the way she treated the white blood cell guy. (Perhaps she's gay?)

She did say all men, except her *dead* husband, are liars.
I don't expect we'll see her dating like Sharona did.

Sorry but I thought it was funny. I didn't consider it mean spirited
at all. As for being gay...I could care less. She has lost her
husband and Monk has lost his wife. I think it will be a good match.
(I still feel for Benji....afterall he lost his job and he was a good
little actor.He got the shaft.....imo.)

I loved the show, and really enjoyed seeing Howard over Sharona... I
mean, I liked Sharona's character, but I tired of her.

Traylor has grown up since her Two guy and a girl stint, and you can
see it. She's become a woman, and looks quite beautiful. I liked her
character as well. Bitter, upset over loosing her husband, trying to
make it on her own with her daughter.

As for the beautiful house, don't forget I imagine they had some money
put aside, AND don't you get your spouses social security if one of the
passes away? So I imagine THAT helps paying the rent as well. :^)

I think she will do a great job as Monk's girl Friday. :)
Just my two cents...

I thought there was a spark with Monk and the daughter, Monk never
really connected with Sharona's Benji, but I think the mother-daughter
combo may get to him.

It's funny, after Friday's episode, they show the desire for
fatherhood, Of course with his wife, but still the connection there.
