The new season just isn't funny anymore. Sharona was the perfect foil
for Monk. Nothing against the new actress but the show needs Sharona
back or it will be off the air within 2 years in my opinion.

Really? I like it just as well as ever. I enjoy it. I don't miss
Sharona's whining at all.

If you have an aversion to "whining" how can you like Monk? :-)

It was the tone of her voice that irritated me. I really liked her but
am getting along just fine with the new girl. As for Monk...the sillier
he is - the harder I laugh.

Two years, try another six months. No longer is this I tape if I have to go
out.

It is all about buffoonery, jokes, shoot-em-ups and where ever we can find a
monk joke location.
San Francisco cops would have gone to Lake Tahoe to gamble not Las Vegas.

Shows basically suck now.

I REALLY want to like it. It's too soon for a show to run out of ideas
but I just don't like the new season yet. 6 episodes- six
diappointments. But i'm glad you enjoy it. I'll give it a few more
chances. Like the other poster said it just isn't a "must see" anymore.

The show will be off in 3 years because thats all Tony wants to do it.
His contract wth USA expires then.
Bitty being back means nothing at all in the big scheme of things.
Your opinion means zip..
The ratings are as good as last years

Few more chances?? I thought next week was the season finale, at least
that's what the wife told me.

Perhaps people are hoping it will get better..but it ain't the same. I
can't believe how fast the show ran out of gas. Maybe they can turn it
around but it is just missing that "something special" right now
