View Full Version : Question about the Season 2 DVD set...
Rob Carroll 03-06-2005, 11:32 AM Hey guys,
Got my box set (psyched!) but I was wondering... is there supposed to be a
little booklet or inset in here? There is a pocket for one, but no booklet.
Anybody else?
Later,
Rob

Thought about picking it up, but couldn't get past Shaloub's overly plastic
face on the cover! He's actually kind of scary looking - is that another
actor who murdered Shaloub and skinned his face, and pulled it taught over
his own - yikes!!!

I haven't bought the season 2 DVD set yet; I did buy season 1 and was
disappointed by the lack of special features (such as deleted scenes or
even commentary tracks) on it. There was a 15 minute documentary and
that was it.
A question: Does the S2 set come with a packet of Monk Antibacterial
gel like the first one did? Has anybody actually used that stuff?
Steven M. Santinelli 03-07-2005, 06:48 AM No, That's his OTHER head (From MIB)... :^)

LindaY 03-07-2005, 08:23 AM No, it doesn't come with an antibacterial packet.
I have yet to figure out that cover. When did Monk wear lipstick and
mascara? It looks as if someone goofed around with the photo for the
cover in Photoshop and whoever did the printing (outsourced possibly?)
didn't know it wasn't supposed to look that way.

I think it was done on purpose by an incompetent, and it's a truly
horrible job. In fact, it's one of the worst examples of cover art
I've ever seen. Mr. Shalhoub looks as if he'd died and been given a
wake at Bodies 'R' Us.

There was no real booklet in my set, just a little ad pamphlet showing
other DVD sets.
I love having the episodes on DVD but wish they had good extras. I'd
love some commentary tracks, deleted scenes, bloopers etc. I'm mostly
used to TV sets put out by Fox, with lots of extras.
