Both shows are filmed in the Vancouver, BC area. So both production
companies are hiring from the same local pool of actors.

There's a seemingly small pool of actors working in Vancouver.
Garry Chalk, Kosolov IIRC, from SG1 was a regular on Cold Squad. Julie
Stewart, who played the lead on that show was also in Regenisis.
The guy who played the Pentagon Major in SG1, I can't recall his name,
had a regular role as a bad cop in DaVinci's Inquest and has been in
numerous Outer Limits eps.
AAMOF, check out The Outer Limits when it plays day-long on SciFi...
you'll see many, many familiar faces from other Vancouver-based shows.
If you have a chance to view any shows filmed in Vancouver, you'll see
many actors you've seen on SG1, SGA, Eureka and more.
Happy viewing,
Tom

I just the X- Files on SciFi and Paul McGuillion, Dr. Beckett, was on
the episode.

Which has little to do with actors jumping from show to show. My point was
about SF shows sharing actors. Where they are filmed is neither here nor
there.

You rattling off a list of shows that don't conform to what was being
discussed isn't making a new point, it's making a wrong list.

Like most countries, Australia and New Zealand has what they like to
claim is "broadband", but the data caps, and speed throttling make it
little more than high-speed (and over-priced) dial-up.

I would so love to hug a whale! :-) I enjoy "Eureka", too, so it's good to
know it's still with us. Anyone know if "Life" has been renewed?

After the strike ended on February 13, 2008 NBC announced that Life had
been picked up for a second season and will return for the Fall 2008/09
season.[3] There is currently no word from NBC that they will shoot any
of the remaining 11 first season episodes to air this spring before the
show returns for its second season in the fall.

Thanks, Andrew, I suppose that is good news, although a long wait. :-( I
guess if they were to film more episodes for S1, they would have started
already, as they have don for a few other shows.

I assume that they just don't have time to film and broadcast the second
eleven episode arc for back half of season one. So I guess the hunt for
Jack Reese will start this fall.
