Joseph Kosinski, who's done a lot of ads including the cute (http://www.josephkosinski.com/projects/movs/halo.html)Halo 3: Starry Night, will direct. And maybe a 3-D version of the 80s video-game movie will keep the whole thing from looking quite so dated. [SciFi Scanner (http://blogs.amctv.com/scifi-scanner/2008/03/tron1jpg.php)]

Will it be on IMAX? Last year I went for the first time to see a 3D performance at an IMAX cinema and was blown away by the experience - it was amazing.

I recall enjoying the original Tron film, but it was so long ago that I don't remember much about it.
