Indeed. One should probably thank Charles "Atlas Bugged" for attracting all
the trolls and kooks from other NGs with his weekly off topic cross-posted
spam, as most of the post pertain to him some how... his ego must be
inflated near breaking point now.

There should be a lot more BSG posts once the new season starts the
beginning of next month.

Apparently the looney bins have decided to let the inmates out of their
padded cells for the week. Quite a few newsgroups are suffering an
influx of morons and trolls. :-(

It's why cross-posting should be banned. Or i should get a decent
newsreaders that eliminates posts from certain newsgroups

The problem is, I don't think you can tell what group the post
originated from. For instance, I post to RSPW because it's stupid fun
over there, but I really do watch the BSG newsgroup because I love BSG.

Takes 2 to tango. I see exactly -zero- of his posts and probably only
about 1% of the offtopic posts thanks to my filters. If you'd do the
same you'd find it much more bearable here.

Has a Viceroy been appointed yet? (I'm not volunteering; I'm already
Viceroy of soc.men, though my minions, henchmen and socks do most of

I would volunteer but my job as #2 ruiner of usenet does occupy
significant amounts of time and while Viceroy of a moribund group such
as AB-G would not be an honerous duty, I feel someone that can apply
themselves to properly maintaining the kook froth from the pratitioner
of legal threats formerly known as Novins and his posse of outer-filth
fan bois does need to be found.

Hello Battlestar fans

I know it's hard reading through all this spammer junk. I have just
started a forum community. Come and join us here and we'll see if we
can get a little Battlestar community together. Borgclan.com

You'll still be able to read and post to this newsgroup. And if you
have some other newsgroups you would like to add, just let me know.

If I replace all instances of "****" with "snuh" and past that into

Get a newsreader that has kill files and slowly but surely kill off

Well, if I saw anything that had rspw as a NG, it would get kf'ed
immediatly.

Well, there are other solutions, but they're illegal, plus you have to
waste you're own time tracking the scum down first. :-)

Doesn't work at all. The trolls and rat-****s rotate all identifiers all
the time.

I track them and provide an updated killfile list periodically.

My posts are all you need to get rid of the rest. If you've killfiled me,
ironically, I'm the one poster who respects killfiles, so you're out of
luck.

The only alternative is to re-invent the wheel each week.

Yes, but you'll want to make other adjustments, such as ensuring that
