View Full Version : Who is watching Seasons 1-3 again
Admin 03-11-2008, 08:30 PM I don't know about you guys but I'm having BSG withdrawal. I've gone
back to watch the first 3 seasons all over again.
I can't wait for this season. I'm really bummed it's going to be the
final season. I wonder if we can change their minds?

I've been doing the same thing. I'm about half-way through season
three now. It's interesting how in the later seasons, they had to
include some filler episodes which sometimes suffered in comparison to
the more tightly plotted episodes which run at the beginning and end
of each season.

I have been watching some as well, but as for getting the "Suits" to change
there mind, and bring Galactica back for another season after this one, I
highly doubt it. Everyone knows Sci-Fi never get's the respect it deserves.

The premise is not one that can go on indefinitely. Best for them to end on it
their own creative terms.

Yes a good series knows when to end the story, we don't want a Gilligan's
Battlestar going on forever.

I definitely agree with that. It sucks that the show is going off the air,
but it's much better to go out on top then to drag it along for another few
seasons.

There's no reason for the _franchise_ to end. It's great for BSG to end
well, but, hopefully, the universe will still pump stuff out after that.

They are. It's called "Caprica". ;-)

Not necessarily. That's the first idea and, right now, it's just
approved for a pilot.
My uninformed guess is that the next BSG franchise will not be Caprica.
But, admittedly, I could easily be wrong in this.

OOoh this has grin potential. Let's see, The Professor is Baltar, of course,
Ginger (The Movie Star) as Six, Gilligan is Lee, Skipper is Adama... hmmm,
not enough Gilligan characters to go around...

I guess it all depends on how well Season four of BSG does, and how good the
"Caprica" movie is. You may be right. Season four of BSG might be
incredible, while "Caprica" does bad in the ratings, so that may convince
the "powers that be" to go with another space drama, as opposed to a
"Caprica" style show. Doesn't really matter to me. I will tune in to
whatever they put out, and see if it's any good. If it is, I'll watch. If
not, I won't.
