Plus, it's already up to almost new price anyway, with shipping.

I always find it pretty funny when people buy something second hand
(regardless of whether they SAY it's new) for almost as much or some
times more than it would cost to walk into a store and buy a new
copy... especially when they're readily available and not short on
supply or something.

It's like they got so caught up in bidding that they didn't notice
what they were agreeing to pay.

LOL! I see that a LOT of eBay.
Like recently I saw people bidding on some used Palm PDAs when they had them
on sale and came with extra memory card free.

End of bidding, and extra $20 could have gotten the NEW one delivered to
them.
I love to send those suckers messages and links to see how much they over
paid.

Take a look at apple itunes cards on ebay. The $50 ones typically go
for $60.

"There's a sucker born every minute".
It's not called ScamBay for nothing. :-\

There of course some eBay bidders who are from other countries where
the product might not be sold or costs more, but it's rare - human
beings are generally just very stupid and very greedy creatures, so
places like eBay satisfy them all.

I had a friend who use to sell resin model kits on ebay, everyone of his
auctions had links to his on-line catalog so people could buy the item out
right if they didn't want to bid (this was before eBay had Buy It Now)
Quite often the item on eBay would bring 20-40% more then the catalog price.
Some people get so caught up in the competition they forget the value of the
item comes into play too.

Right now the ebay price is $148.50 + $14.95 (for US shipping) $163.45
Amazon have it for $164.99 (with free super saver shipping in the US).

Only $1.54 different and still has a little over a day and a half to
go.
