Because I bought "Stargate SG-1: The Ark of Truth"
from Amazon.com recently, they are offering me a complete series set
called,"Stargate:Infinity" an
animated series.I have never heard of it.Supposedly
they have had 3 episodes in the can back in 2003 before they shelved
it.I have never seen one episode or remember seeing it in any event. Is
this series even worth looking into? I am not much of a fan of
animation, but if the plots are good I MIGHT look into it.Any opinions?

If you need some new drink coasters, get the Infinity DVD set. That's
about what they're worth.

Agreed... It truly was a terrible series.

I think you will be hard-pressed to find any adult Stargate fans who liked
it. If you are really curious, download a couple of episodes or try
YouTube. Then you will be glad you didn't spend any money on it.

(I got the same email and laughed.)

I tried to give it a chance-- it being a part of the SG merchandise universe
and all-- but, damn, it was so horrible...

One whole season was made, althoughy I don't know how many actually
aired in the US, but it did play on a normal free-to-air TV network
(ie. not Sky) here in New Zealand. Unfortunately I never saw more than
bits of a few episodes. It looked better than most of the cartoon shows
these days (which is not difficult given all the Poké-card-ball
garbage), but I can't tell you how "Stargateish" it was - most people
around here seem to dislike it though. It was set in the future of the
live-action shows, so doesn't have anything to do with the characters
from the live-action shows.

Sky 1 run it in the mornings (08:30 - 9). I watched a couple of episodes. Oh
dear. Just crap.

I rather poor kids TV series, designed to fill as an I/E
(Informational/Educational). It was set sometime in the future, the
Stargate was 2-way, and lots of other oddities.

I had a bunch of Canadian dollars I needed to exchange, so I went to the
currency exchange window at the local bank. Short line.
Just one lady in front of me . . . an Asian lady who was trying to
exchange yen for dollars and she was a little irritated.
She asked the teller, "Why it change? Last month, I get two hunat
dollafo yen. Today I get hunat eighty? Why it change?"
The teller shrugged his shoulders and said, "Fluctuations." The Asian
lady yelled back, "Fluc you white people, too!"
