View Full Version : Last DS9 episode
\(not quite so\) Fat Sam 03-25-2008, 03:22 PM I watched a DS9 episode last week which ended with the Cardassians and Jem
Hadar taking over DS9, or Terrek Nor as they call it.
In this episode, the Starfleet crew and Klingons evacuated teh station, and
flew off to meet hundreds of starfleet vessels, where they turned around and
joined the armada to return back to DS9, with the intention of kicking some
Cardassian and Dominion ***.
This episode had a feeling of finality to it, but at the same time, the way
it ended kind of left everything open...
It felt more like a season finale rather than the last ever episode...Like
it was part 1 of a 2-parter...But there was no "To be continued" at the
end...
Was this the last ever DS9 episode, or was it just a season finale with a
second part that I missed?

The final episode was a two-parter. I remember there was a big fight between
Sisko and Dukat in the final episode. I won't spoil it for you, but that
bitch Kai Winn finally died. Hurrah!

Oooh. So what I saw was probably only a season finale then...
Cool...

Yes. It was only a season finale.
The end of season 5.
The entire series has seven seasons.
Two more to go. :-)

Wooo....
I wonder why Virgin ended with season 5 on Friday just gone, and restarted
again yesterday with "Emmisary"...Right back to the start again...
Benjamin Pavsner 03-26-2008, 12:44 PM Not only was it NOT the series finale, it wasn't even a SEASON finale. This
was mid-season 5, November sweeps if memory serves. The Sisko and Co. DO end
up taking back the station and, about two and a half seasons later, win the
war( in a very convoluted way, I might add).

Will no one join me in mourning Kai Win? She had Bajor's best interest at
heart, even if you didn't like the way she went about it.

She did /claim/ that from time to time.
But I also think she named her own ego 'Bajor'. It confused her a lot.

Kai Win was an uber-bitch.

LOL! Well put.
She was a biter character, jealous the Prophets had chosen an outsider (who
referred to the Prophets as the wormhole aliens) as their Emissary instead
of her.

I'll take Kai Opaka, Vedek Yassim, and Li Nalas any day over Kai Win.
W. Pooh (AKA Winnie P.)
