Okay.
That 'tu' part reminds of French, but shouldn't that be followed by 'et', as
in 'tu et', in which the 't' in 'et' isn't pronounced.... Or was that 'tu
est'??
Who is Agora? If not some type of wool. Or is that Angora? My mind is a bit
fuzzy here.
The 'exagerando' part...
It could be Portuguese or Italian (or some other latin based language) for
'Agora, you are exaggerating!'
I'm making things up as I go along.
A true polyglot I'll never be, although I did learn some French 28 years ago
when I was 14 (but never read or spoke it after that).
That's why it's good to have a lingua franka.

TECHNICALLY,there is no 'X' in Italian alphabetization.However,when I
was there in 1967
(as a 12 year old kid) they DID use that letter in
some commercial applications like names of companies. It is not an
absolute.

Okay. So far we have "Now you are.... " and then what?

Or did you mean by 'gotcha' something like 'you got it' (aka 'Bingo!') and

So, now what did "Ja vam taky rozumim!" mean? I'm starting to think it has

Let's ask Eva.

'rozunim' can mean:
mind, wittiness, wit, wisdom, understanding, sense, sconce, reason,
intelligence, intellect, head, brain (or so an internet site claims).

And since Eva was getting in the spirit of things I'm willing to wager she
was saying something like:

"I can understand you."

Who needs Eva? :-) Yes, that's what it was, literally "I you also
understand." We usually do not bother with 'can' in a sentence like that. I
did like the tacky roses idea though!

No, but it could have been much worse. If I was a mercan, I would say you were from

Yes, there was a typo. That 'n' should have been an 'm'.
Is there any special meaning to that word (with the 'n')?

The middle of the Pacific... Okay. Can happen.

No idea, I don't speak Czech. But with some typos you could be calling someone's mother a
bad name, for all we (don't) know! Better be careful.

I know. I was just messing. :-) I really felt sorry for her when her
Ancient mates left her by herself on Earth. It would have been more humane
to kill her, if they couldn't have cured her. I know what I would have
preferred.

She was the cause of the thing she saved the few humans FROM though.
So her being dead vs alive in the 21st century made no difference at all
really...

Apart from O'niell getting tortured to death by Ba'al of course.
Absolutely nothing good came of her revival.

The butterfly theory? Let's say the children of the people she saved (from her own illness
or not, it does not matter. She saved them, point) will accomplish something important.
Like finding another suitable planet once we have destroyed this one, which won't be long
now, yadda yadda.

You are missing the point here. If she had not been revived, nobody would
have got sick so there would have been nobody to save. No butterflies
involved since my point was she would have been better off dead. Dead = no
body to be found, no illness to be inflicted on others, no saving necessary,
status quo remains. The main reason for the episode was for O'Neill to get
sick and disappear for a while, since RDA hurt his knee (remember ;-) ) and
needed a bit of time off. If you look at his performance in "Frozen", he is
a bit more out of it than usual because he was on painkillers.

We would have been deprived of Abyss, and don't get me started on *missing Daniel's
comeback*, and then Jack saving that slave girl from Ba'al... Ok, I haven't watched
Stargate in a good while and don't remember all the details, but I do remember that the
Tok'ra didn't get out of the situation feeling very proud!

BTW, what's the actor who played Ba'al doing now? I like him.

That could have been achieved by other means, they could have written a
different episode which almost kills Jack.

Ha! I would have gladly missed Daniel's comeback. Michael Shanks totally
ruined Daniel for me with his I-am-destined-for-greater-things attitude;
after his return I could never enjoy Daniel as much as I did before because
I started seeing MS, not Daniel.

No, they didn't. Jack must have been ecstatic that his dislike and his
distrust of the Tok'ra was confirmed in this way; I bet he thought it was
worth all the pain. <g>

Here I was going to mark the next sentence as a spoiler but if I did that,
you could work out what the spoiler was anyway, so let me just say as
vaguely as I can that you will be happy to hear he will be in an SG-1 movie.

Why not? A gunshot wound, for example, would have worked just as well;
after all, Sam sold Jack the snake idea as him helping to recover the intel
the Tok'ra had gathered.

Daniel was my favourite in the movie, being an egyptologist etc. That very
much lasted until Shanks had left, but on his return, where TPTB had
obviously gone along with at least some of Shanks' 'suggestions' of how
Daniel's character should develop, he seemed to turn into someone else. Now,
I realise that Daniel had obviously changed and couldn't have stayed the
same person he was at the beginning, given his experiences, but the whole
body building look just didn't ring true to me.
I am sure Danielites loved it though!

He's in the next SG1 movie.

He's appearing at starfest in Denver, Colorado next weekend.

But wasn't she the one carrying the virus so that they caught it off
her in the first place?

Well, we got good Jonas moments from the story :-)

_I_ didn't and he had always been my favorite character.
I didn't like that Daniel was turning into a
stereotypical macho 'guy' and losing the intellectual professor
piece. I get that it might/could happen as he learned more military
stuff and trained more and so on, but I didn't like it.

Btw, I've met Shanks in real and he a very typical, macho, sports
oriented, stuck on himself guy. I'm not impressed :P

OTOH, I've also met Peter Williams in person (apophis) and he is
SO nice!!! :)

Ba'al was 'ok'. Apophis was _much_ better imo!

I'm *not* fighting you over Apophis, and never shall! ;)

It sounds much better in French, but then, everything does.

Agreed. Apophis actually had charisma. Ba'al was like a politician.
And Anubis was a weak Palpatine rip-off.
