The raison d'etre of our annual awards is to promote feedback. What
follows are a series of posts, one per series, which highlights the
stories and authors who received comments during the recently
concluded awards period.

Please note these are *not* the award results aka 'winners'; that
particular post will appear tomorrow, March 30. Regardless, every
single
person who participated in the newsgroup this year, by reading or
writing fic, is a definite winner.
