Hi All,
Been away for over ten years but I'm glad to see the group is still
around. Thought I'd share a little data from a long ago post on how
many times people in the Dune novels try to "swallow in dry throats":
>Book by book, 1 to 6, the totals are 48 - 21 - 37 - 43 - 28 - 8
Always tickles me when I'm rereading.

48 in Dune!? That's outrageous. And here I am defending the books
writing like a fool.
