Discussion of SF related topics that don't belong in any other existing
newsgroup, AIUI.

In discussion you missed: There was talk of moving
rec.arts.sf.composition snarly threads to a new newsgroup. Then
someone pointed out that rec.arts.sf.misc existed and wasn't being much
used for anything else.

And that's what some of us have begun doing.
