View Full Version : Ark of Truth Spoiler
NJ Esperantist 06-10-2008, 03:00 PM Anyone else happen to notice a non plot point, but interesting bit?
When the Ancient guy is getting ready to leave and is locking(?) the
Ark of Truth, just as his companion called him away to leave, he runs
back to retrieve his notebook.
Look at the drawings in the notebook as he grabs it. Then as they are
walking out, we hear him say "I had a great idea last night..."
Remember that this takes place millions of years ago and that they are
about to head to the Milky way in their giant ship.

Sketched in the notebook is a Stargate ring and that 3D cube that
Daniel drew to explain how the coordinate system works. You can also
see a chevron roughly sketched. I believe they are saying that the
guy is the inventor of the stargates.

Hmm.

If this is so, though, and the ship we saw flying out of the mountain
was the one that went off to the Milky Way, then that would indicate
there aren't any stargates in the Ancients/Ori Home Galaxy. But then
how do the Ori manage to send their Priors through the Stargates in
the Milky Way???

Hmm. The Ori do have supergates though. However, I don't recall
(without rewatching season 9&10) if we ever saw a stargate in the Ori
galaxy. One wonders if the Ori can 'whisk' priors away, or whether
they must use only coropreal means to get around.

We know they have a ring system.
