I'm sorry, but modern TV networks only "rerun" sitcoms and CSI. I recommend recording the shows you like and watching them again before the next season starts. -beaumon Michelle Steiner 07-10-2008, 10:15 PM In article <77489fbd-2c07-4542-937a-fecd8c9b899f@l64g2000hse.googlegroups.com>, lorincantrell@yahoo.com wrote: > > Hey is NBC going to rerun season 2 this summer before season 3 > > kicks off? > > I'm sorry, but modern TV networks only "rerun" sitcoms and CSI. By the way, DirecTV has all of season 1 and season 2 available through its On Demand system, but they charge $1.99 per episode. -- Support the troops: Bring them home ASAP. Modern TV networks rerun everything that has more than one season - and some things that don't. There are so many networks these days, they have to fight over programs. Why do you think so much of what's on is pure drek? lorincantrell@yahoo.com 07-17-2008, 04:50 PM On Jul 11, 11:16 pm, "Dragonlady" <dragonladynos...@cableone.net> wrote: > <lorincantr...@yahoo.com> wrote in message > > news:77489fbd-2c07-4542-937a-fecd8c9b899f@l64g2000hse.googlegroups.com... > On Jul 6, 8:46 pm, "Karl" <karl...@yahoo.com> wrote: > > >> Hey is NBC going to rerun season 2 this summer before season 3 kicks off? > >I'm sorry, but modern TV networks only "rerun" sitcoms and CSI. Why do you think so much of what's on is pure drek? I'm not talking about cable nets picking up shows following their broadcast network runs, or about shows that get syndicated to local tv stations. I'm talking about the practice of rerunning key episodes of the previous season before the next season starts. It still happens, but not nearly to the extent it did when I was young. I always thought it was an ideal thing to do, especially for a serialized show. Promote the heck out of it and let people who have heard the buzz but haven't watched catch up. However, no network suits ever seem to agree with my opinions. -beaumon |
