Made from pieces parts, adorned with Pixies stickers (that's the band, not the fey), I live it, I love it, I need it.

Favorite gadget.... hhhhmmm..... I'd have to say our DVR. We (the wifey & I) never had a DVR before and when we signed up for DirecTV a DVR was available as part of a promo price that was too good to pass up.

Thanks to that toy I've been watching a bunch of movies lately thanks to it being able to record multiple channels at the same time and also being able to automatically record showings based upon keywords. Tonight's viewing was an English sub-titled version of the original Russian movie Solaris.


BM, for years my home-build PC's have been named Hackenstein. I used to number them as well (eg: Hackenstein 1, Hackenstein 2, etc.) but lost count over the years. Last time somebody worked on my main desktop machine they asked why my hard drives were named Romulus and Remus.
