Would you believe I don't have any recent games from the past few years?

My favorite games tend to be either side-scrollers (a dying genre ) or puzzle games. Currently I'm hooked on trying reclaim my high score in 12 Swap.

This is supposed to be available for PC very soon. It looks as though it will be worth it, but my system is lacking. I need to upgrade desperately, but that nasty ol "afford ability" issue rears it's ugly head....again & again.

If I was to take the "plunge", what kind of system would I need as far as capabilities, brand? Alienware? Blackbird?

I mean so I wouldn't need to do it again in two years?, or is this too much to ask?
