Title: Caught In The Rain
Rating: PG-13 I guess but then it mite be higher, I’m not sure

A/N: this is kinda AU, but jus bear with me cos I’m not really sure when this occurs – but its definetly after SD-6 has been taken down so its prob sometime after Sark is released in S3, oh an its not really sarkney as such, they’re just both in it – and breathe - lol
Also, there are parts that are flashbacks, which will normally be in bold, and ppls thoughts will be in italics.
Caught In The Rain
Chapter 1
“Come on!” the girl shouted as she ran out onto the sandy beach. The rain was thundering down and splashing heavily on the water. She ran back towards the boy who was sheltering under the old lifeguard station. “Come on, Julian!” the girl exclaimed, prolonging her words to show him how much he was annoying her, as she grabbed his hand and dragged him out into the open. She began spinning around, her arms outstretched and a look of pure glee evident on her face. Her long light brown hair swayed as she whirled round, and shone in the moonlight as the rain soaked it. The natural blonde she had through it reflected the harsh brightness of the thunderbolts now striking quite infrequently behind them, and over the vast ocean.
“Love, you’re going to give us hypothermia!” She just grabbed his arms and placed them around her waist and continued to twirl, silencing him for the moment. “I don’t care, Jules – you know I can’t resist a good thunderstorm, especially when the rain is pounding down like this – its not the same here, it doesn’t rain like it does at home… it’s the one thing I truly miss!” she said to him, with a hint of sadness as she trailed off slightly at her last comment. “I know, love, I know” he said, stroking her hair gently as he pulled her in towards him. She looked up at him and smiled, and he kissed her lovingly on the forehead, “That damned name of yours!” he said laughing and kissed her tenderly again, but this time he placed the sweet kiss on her lips and her smile grew at this.
Then suddenly he pulled away saying, “Well, if it’s water you want, then water you’re gonna have!” and he grabbed her and swiftly lifted her up so she was lying over his shoulder, and he ran towards the sea. She shrieked with surprise and laughter and playfully hit him on the back, “Jules, put me down! – please, Jules” He carried her to the water and promptly dropped her in the ocean, “There you go! – now you’re down!” he said with a cheeky grin. “Jules – oh, I could kill you!” she said with a fake look of anger. “You could try!” he said with a smirk.
“Anyway, you wouldn’t kill me, it would ruin your perfect ‘shower’!” he said smiling at her, before continuing, “Plus, what kind of person murders there best friend on a night like this!” “Ok, Ok!” she said then with a sly grin added, “But can I at least do this!” and before he had time to register what was going on she had snatched his arm and pulled him down into the water with her. “Bloody hell, love could you at least warn me next time!” he said with a laugh as she pulled him into her embrace, “Now what fun would that be, huh?” she answered with a smile as she kissed him.
Just then something caught Julian’s eye, “Oh s***!”…
