Jack was supposed to be bad?

OMG, I just read this thing on wikipedia and I'm so shocked!

The original plot, which was hinted at, was that Jack was not just involved with the Covenant but was its leader and he was involved in Sydney's 2 year absence. There may have been a connection between Jack and Rambaldi in that Jack was either descended from Rambaldi or was Rambaldi himself. Sydney herself was a project of Jack's and her whole life was manipulated by him.

Is that true? These guys are crazey!! How could they even imagine this storyline!? I mean, I'm really and deeply shocked :blink:

Because Jack is my favorite character on Alias I would've been crushed if they had gone with this storyline and I'm not entirely sure I could've have kept watching Alias. I mean Jack and Sydney's relationship was the heart of the series for me and if they had done this the show would've lost its heart for me.

I agree with you Lomenie, Jack loved Sydney so much but it seemes like sometimes he was overprotecting her, so I guess it would expain it if they kept that storyline. Anyways I'm glad they didn't, 'cause the show is awesome how it is.

I completey agree.The show is awesome the way it is and if Jack had been bad alot of the shows integrity and plot would have been lost. However if he had been bad him and Irina might have had a deeper relationship which I as a J/I shipper would have loved!
