it's a though choice to make, Jack, Sloane or Sark.
Sark is a good figter but his loyalties change too much. he always tells the other the information they want. Jack never breaks and is also a great fighter.
Sloane, he showed us how tough he was during the box, we never really got to see him fight though.
So I have to say Jack as the toughest guy on Alias.
 
1. Jack-Through all the torture by (Rutger Hauer) he was awesome and of course the take no felgercarb attitude.
2. Sloane- can anyone say 'The Box'? I mean torture by needles with chemical inducing toxins and then the poor bastage has to let Jack cut off his finger on top of it?
3. Vaughn- Through all of the Sark/ Lauren torture he never broke, never gave them the information they wanted. Tough cookie, now Jack just needs to fine tune him to hone his skills.
4. Sark- breaks down and sings the moment Sloane or Vaughn or Sydney or hell even Marshall looks at him. Just waiting for the day he has to encounter Jack..{evil laugh} Ruthless Sark maybe,.. with a gun from a distance away but, tough? No Sark is definately not a tough guy.
 
Jack is the hardest Alias character by a country mile. Completely agree about the torture in 'Phase One', few others could have taken it. And let's face it, he's suffered 30 years of emotional torture, so he has to win.

Sloane proved he was hard in 'The Box', yeah. He's one of those characters who, on all levels, has more to him that it seems. To look at him, he just isn't a brawler. Sloane fights with his mind & his resources & I think in many ways is almost as tough as Jack.

There's hope for Vaughn if he keeps going down the dark road (though I fear Syd may soften him), but Sark?. Yeah, no way is he hard. He rides his luck & shacks up with the hard characters. Irina was harder than him. Hell, take Sark's weapons away & I reckon Marshall could b****-slap him down!!...

Don't forget Dixon, either. He can kick serious ass & has lost his wife remember & came through it. He's up there with the toughest. :angry:
 
I voted Sloane because he made his torturer (Cole) shoot his girlfriend and then he made Jack cut off his finger. Plus he hiked up that mountain to the Rambaldi monk, took a bullet for Jack, faced the electric chair, and generally is a tough guy.
 
mm forgot to add Diixon, anyways the reason I put Sark up as well is because aside from all the loyaly shifting he is a good agent in the field. He's also quite smart. he just doesn't care about anything that much. If he finally did I belive he would resist the torture, etc.

I'm not english or American so I sometimes have some spelling flaws in my posts. Sometimes you're actually helpful, most of the time you are just looking for little things to give vaughn haters a hard time.
 
Yup, that's totally me. :rolleyes: Or, you know, I enforce the rules, which is my job, and that includes going after Vaughn haters if needed. But whatever.

I can also add Dixon if you'd like.

What Vaughn and Jack could do if they really worked as a team would be impressive, and I suspect Sark would not enjoy it if it touched on him. :lol:

Yeah, Dixon should be up there, and so should Will Tippen. "One in five!"
 
Hi. This is my first post, so I hope its OK.

To me "toughest" implies being able to take it, more than it does being able to dish it out, and on that basis I voted for Sloane.

Who else has ordered someone else to amputate a finger and extract a bullet without anasthetic? Who else has been prepared to risk death by lethal injection (Hourglass) or from a bullet from Jack (Crossings) or have his arm cut off by Bomani?

Jack is a tough cookie alright and Dixon and Vaughn are OK but for me, Sloane will always have the edge!

although i love Sark there is simply no way that he is the toughest tho he's still cute to me ;)
 
Jack is the man!
Then Sloane is second.
Sark has to place higher than Vaughn.
Vaughn had to use a pair of handcuffs as brass knuckles to defeat Sark when they were fighting.
 
SIO what about SarkvsVaughn holding up under torture?
What about Sark pulling a gun/ knife every chance he has during a fight?

Sark's a bad guy. He doesn't have to follow the rules! :lol:

Don't you think that it would be better to bring Weiss to a fight rather than Vaughn? Even though Vaughn eventually wins when he's fighting bad guys, he looks like he getting beat to a pulp in the process.
