Upgrading to latest version

Hello,

Now that we have the great news of new version release of XFA, can anyone please guide me how to install it on top of previous version.

I mean, I have already installed arcade in my website, now I have to upgrade it to new version. Should I uninstall the old version first? If so, how? Do I need to manually delete all the files and database as well after uninstalling the plugins from my XF ACP?

No need to uninstall the old version. The update process is the same as other XF addons...

- Upload the "js" & "library" folders to your XF folder.
- Go into your ACP, "List Add-Ons", find "XF Arcade", select "Upgrade Add-On" from the drop-down menu, in the "

Upgrade from file on server:​

" text box enter "library/Arcade/addon-arcade.xml" and you're good to go.

How about the : crossdomain.xml ?

That needs to be put at the ROOT of your installation. Not the root of your forum, but the root of your server installation (usually called public_html).

You can install without putting the crossdomain.xml in the right place, but scores will not save.

Not needed for anything unless you would like to use Mochi games.
