I saw reference to this show recently and I was like, "Wow, I remember that one!". It didn't last long, just one season in 1975, but it lived on for several years in syndication as part of a package of Sid & Marty Krofft shows called The Krofft Supershow.

Even though I likely haven't see an episode since the late 70's I remember it because the two 'alien' adults on the show, Jim Nabors and Ruth Buzzi, were constantly bickering and blaming each other for mistakes. The trope of two androids who are always bickering but are really good friends, would be seen again in BSG with Hector & Vector in the 1978 Greetings From Earth episode and of course in 1977 two "droids" were introduced in the Star Wars verse.

On a related note, I really miss shows having their own theme songs.
